Carregador Beach <strong>has showers, toilets, shaded areas, lifeguard service, beach bars, hammock rentals, and wooden walkways<\/strong> that facilitate access from the promenade. <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is also one of the most accessible beaches in Alcossebre. Getting to the sand is no mystery: the promenade runs along the entire beach and connects it with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orangecosta.com\/blog\/en\/playa-romana-alcossebre-2\/\">Romana Beach<\/a> on one side and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orangecosta.com\/blog\/en\/playa-de-las-fuentes-beach\/\">Playa de las Fuentes<\/a>\u2014one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orangecosta.com\/blog\/bandera-azul-playas-castellon\/\">Blue Flag beaches of Castell\u00f3n<\/a>\u2014on the other. You can walk from many points in the area, without needing to touch the car.  <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And if you do it on two or four wheels, <strong>you&#8217;ll find several public car parks in the surrounding area<\/strong>, both next to the promenade and in the interior streets. If you feel like combining beach with nature and good views, <strong>one of the must-sees is the <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.orangecosta.com\/blog\/en\/torre-badum\/\"><strong>Torre Badum<\/strong><\/a><strong>, an old watchtower located on the cliffs of the <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.orangecosta.com\/blog\/en\/natural-park-sierra-irta\/\"><strong>Sierra de Irta Natural Park<\/strong><\/a>. From here, the views of the coastline are spectacular.  <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you like more secluded coves, write down <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orangecosta.com\/blog\/en\/cala-blanca-alcossebre-2\/\">Cala Blanca<\/a>, a small sandy beach with very clear waters ideal for snorkeling. Also nearby is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orangecosta.com\/blog\/en\/beach-pebret\/\">Playa del Pebret<\/a>, perfect if you are looking for a somewhat wilder and less urban environment than Carregador. <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>The coast of Alcossebre also has its own icons. One of them is the  <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.orangecosta.com\/blog\/faro-de-alcossebre\/\"><strong>Alcossebre Lighthouse<\/strong><\/a>, which has become one of the most photographed points in the area<strong>. And, inland, the <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.orangecosta.com\/blog\/en\/ermita-de-santa-lucia\/\"><strong>Ermita de Santa Luc\u00eda<\/strong><\/a><strong> will give you one of the most complete views of the coast.<\/strong> In addition, the Route of the Giant Chairs, with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orangecosta.com\/blog\/en\/orange-touristic-chair\/\">Orange Tourist Chair<\/a> at the head, will allow you to see several municipalities on a very photogenic panoramic route.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also note <strong>the <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.orangecosta.com\/blog\/en\/mercadillo-alcossebre-2\/\"><strong>Alcossebre market<\/strong><\/a><strong>, which is set up every Tuesday from June to October\u2014from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM<\/strong>. It is perfect for taking a walk at sunset and looking for something to take home among stalls of crafts, summer clothes, and locally produced products. <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And, if you are one of those who are not satisfied with lying in the sun, from this area you can connect with several <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orangecosta.com\/blog\/en\/hiking-trail-castellon\/\">hiking trails in Castell\u00f3n<\/a>, especially within the Sierra de Irta.
