The last section is a compacted dirt track. You have to drive slowly and be aware of giving way when necessary; it is a bit narrow. What will you find? <strong>A signposted car park and a picnic area with shade and sea views<\/strong>; there are also wooden walkways that protect the dunes and facilitate walking through the back of the beach. <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What won&#8217;t you see? Showers, rows of sunbeds or beach bars with music. Come with water, food, an umbrella and, if you can, also bring some snorkel goggles to browse the rocky shallows at the ends of the beach. The water is so clear that you can see the bottom and the patches of sand that alternate with meadows and rock.   <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are looking for a coastal area with all the amenities, then take a look at the urban beaches of Pe\u00f1\u00edscola, and if you want to be between the sea and nature without any additives, then come to Platja del Pebret.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Next to it is the neighboring Platja del Russo, and between the two they form the most beloved duo of the Serra d&#8217;Irta. Of course, the latter has traditionally had a nudist atmosphere. <\/strong><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the foot of the beach you will also find the <strong>Torre Badum<\/strong>\u2014the one we mentioned before\u2014. It is a <strong>16th-century surveillance construction that dominates the second highest cliff in the Comunitat<\/strong> and also a natural viewpoint that you have to visit. It will take about 35 minutes walking from the beach.  <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And if you go to the <strong>Pebret barracks<\/strong>\u2014Corral del Batall\u00f3n\u2014, you will find another piece of history: this building <strong>housed customs officers and civil guards who watched for smuggling by sea for decades<\/strong>, and today it has been rehabilitated as a point of public use. Film plants such as the <strong>iris and sea spurge<\/strong> grow here, specialists in surviving salt, wind and drought. <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you look up towards the cliffs, the winged fauna will give you many joys, especially if you come with the idea of taking photos. Irta is in the middle of a migratory route and, in addition, maintains very special residents; over the sea <strong>it is possible to see seagulls, cormorants, Kentish plovers, peregrine falcons and eagles.<\/strong>  <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And in the clear waters of Pebret, posidonia meadows survive, authentic underwater forests that serve as nurseries for thousands of creatures.
