specifically, the so-called Olla de Benic\u00e0ssim\u2014was an easy landing spot for privateers and pirates. The constant attacks frightened the locals and led to the depopulation of the coastal towns, so a <strong>surveillance system was built, consisting of 18 towers spread along the coast of the province of Castell\u00f3n.<\/strong>  <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>One of them is the Tower of San Vicente<\/strong>, which stands on the Torre de San Vicente beach in Benic\u00e0ssim. Then follow the signs to the promenade. <strong>You will find several public <em>parking<\/em> lots and parking areas nearby<\/strong>, although in summer it is best to arrive early to avoid traffic jams and the headache of having to search for a place to park. <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>To get there by urban bus, you can use lines L1 and L2. <\/strong>These connect the center of Benic\u00e0ssim with the beach. The L1 will leave you near the Tower of San Vicente, while the L2 runs along the entire coast.
